Managing Director, KEY Admissions
KEY Admissions 董事总经理
After graduating from UBC, Ben moved back to the United States to work in finance and real estate in San Francisco. He returned to Vancouver to join a commercial finance brokerage, which was acquired by a large Canadian pension fund, and soon thereafter by the Royal Bank of Canada, making it the leading leasing companies in Canada today. While he was consistently recognized as a top national contributor, he was looking for another outlet that spoke to his passions. Being an advocate for the educational advancement, Ben graduated from St. George's School and co-founded Advantage Admissions, an admissions strategy firm focusing on private school admission in 2009. He found that helping people achieve their dreams was deeply satisfying, and it drove him to spread KEY's message to a wider audience. Merging with Admissions Strategists in 2011, he is committed to thought leadership in admissions strategy, unique avenues of service delivery and helping families to understand how to thrive in the private school environment. In 2013, Ben helped to open the KEY Centre in Vancouver, which has brought him the opportunity to work with hundreds of Asian families looking for placement in North American private schools and universities. He actively volunteers with institutions such as the Sauder School of Business and Junior Achievement.
