About Our ML/UL ISEE/SSAT Prep

The ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) and SSAT (Secondary School Admissions Test) are the primary exams used by private school admissions all over the US. Both tests are divided into Lower Level (grades 3-5), Middle Level (grades 5-8) and Upper Level (grades 8-12), and both cover math, reading, vocabulary, and writing.

If your student is taking the Middle or Upper Level ISEE or SSAT, their results may have a big impact on their secondary academic careers. That's a lot of pressure for a young person (and for his or her parents), and one of the main reasons Noodle Pros tutors come highly recommended by educational consultants and admissions directors. Our ISEE and SSAT tutors are highly experienced, highly skilled, and deeply committed to your child's results.

Ages for the ML and UL ISEE and SSAT vary. Use this guide to determine the test(s) your child might take, based on the grade into which he or she is applying:

Our Noodle Pro was a fabulous tutor, and our daughter was incredibly well prepared for the ISEE. But in fact, our Noodle Pro was more than a tutor; she was an invaluable mentor and a trusted advisor as our daughter considered what she wanted in a high school and which high schools offered her the best fit. Our tutor is an incredible person and resource, and provided so much more than outstanding test prep.

UL ISEE Student

New York, NY

Our Noodle Pro was stellar! When she found out that our daughter had dyscalculia, she researched the subject to see how best to help. My daughter's scores improved immensely under our Pro's tutelage, and my daughter started to feel confident and like school, which was the best gift of all! Our tutor seems to not just sprinkle her magic, but dunk students in her potent version of fairy dust.

ML SSAT Parent

London, UK

Our daughter's first scores were 48%, 27%, 69% and 28% on the ISEE exam. After working with a Noodle Pro, her scores increased to 75%, 71%, 72% and 68%. More importantly, our Pro's encouragement of our daughter in Algebra and Geometry gave her the confidence to stay on her school's "college prep track" in mathematics. Our tutor is, as my generation says, "The real deal."
