NY and NJ's Premier Test Preparation Expert

Biography

For the past thirteen years Anna Gazumyan-Silverman’s fun and engaging personal lessons have been inspiring her students to achieve the scores they need to get into their dream schools. She has successfully prepared hundreds of students from Horace Mann and Yeshiva University HS in New York, and from Dwight Englewood, Bergen County Academies, Academy of Holy Angels, Frisch, and other New Jersey schools for the SSAT, ISEE, SHSAT, ACT, SAT, PSAT, and SAT Math Subject Tests. She has also prepared numerous older students, (sometimes the older siblings of her younger students!) for the GRE, GMAT, or MCAT Verbal exams. Her students refer their friends and neighbors to Anna because they’re thrilled with the results she enables them to achieve, and because they enjoyed a process that, in the hands of a lesser tutor, might have been a chore. Anna teaches all her students both the necessary content and the most efficient techniques for test day. Anna's specialty is working with anxious testers to build their confidence along with their skills. Her background in psychology, combined with her ability to empathize with students, allows her to teach them in a way that fits their personalities and learning styles. Anna loves working with her students and appreciates the responsibility for contributing to their success. When Anna isn’t with students, you can find her shuttling her children to music or swimming, or hanging out with them at the Botanical Garden or a museum. When she gets a moment alone, it’s spent reading, doing Yoga, or geeking out on the latest test updates.
