Get Math and Physics tutoring from a university lecturer

Biography

John received his Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from Boston College, stayed another two years to get a Masters in Physics, and then went to the University of Virginia to get a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics. He has been lecturing at a university in New York City for twenty years now, and prior to that, for six years as a graduate student. Over this time, he has taught everything from Precalculus to graduate-level Quantum Mechanics, and his students have ranged from high school all the way up to graduate school level. For almost as long as he's been teaching Math and Physics, John has also been teaching group fitness, both while in graduate school and after moving to New York City. While seemingly at odds with his academic side, John argues that moonlighting as a fitness instructor actually complements his "day job" quite well. It's a great way to de-stress and keeps him doing what he enjoys doing: teaching (albeit in an entirely different environment). John brings his teaching experience with a broad range of students into the tutoring room. He's able to anticipate the pitfalls in learning certain topics, and he's developed strategies for tackling them. Find out why John was the recipient of the Distinguished Teacher Award at his university by having him help you with your Math and Physics needs.
