30 Years Tutoring

Nearly thirty years of tutoring, test preparation, and academic counseling experience

Biography

With a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Vocational and Academic Counseling, Glenn has been working with students on test taking and school admissions strategy since the late 1980's, when, admittedly, he was a lot faster getting up and down a basketball court. He works with students from elementary school through graduate study, with particular expertise in the SAT, SAT subject Tests in Math and History, SHSAT, ISEE, SSAT, TACHS, COOP, GRE, LSAT, GRE and AP Psychology exams, and even the Social Science sections of the MCAT. During his 1993-2010 time at Princeton Review he contributed to numerous test prep publications and completely rewrote the Review's Cracking the AP Psychology and Cracking the GRE Psychology books. He has written extensively on the high school, college, and graduate admissions processes, and, in an earlier life, was an Admissions Counselor at NYU. When not involved in all the above, Glenn still works on a rather mediocre jump shot. He also helped found, and for twelve years co-chaired, the runners' advocacy group New York Road Race OmbudsAssociation, writing numerous articles on issues in the sport of road racing. He is also a well-known neurological health advocate, working for greater recognition and treatment of peripheral neuropathy and other neural conditions.
