7 Years Tutoring
Fun and experienced tutoring professional.
Mark likes to think of himself as a foundational tutor. He strips a concept or a skill down to its elemental parts and then applies layers of complexity as fast as students are ready for them. His diverse professional background, including everything from clinical research to theater, makes it easy for him to make academic concepts come alive with real world scenarios. This approach is important for test takers at all scoring levels.
Mark is equally proficient with the college admissions exams and the graduate admissions exams. As an MBA candidate at the Columbia School of Business, Mark has recent, first-hand success with the admissions process, allowing him to both empathize and advise.
One great thing about the tutoring business is that nice guys often finish first. Mark is a pleasure to work and communicate with. While tutoring is no longer his full time pursuit, he always devotes himself fully to his students' progress and is motivated by their success.
